Photos and video from SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular 2010

We sent our kid reporters to find out what happens when Halloween meets the sea during SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular. Here’s their video report and a photo gallery from the first day of the event.

Unlike other local theme park Halloween events, SeaWorld’s family-fun is included with park admission. You’ll find many characters, trick or treating stations and a Halloween Sesame Street show. Although it’s called Spooktacular, there’s not much “spooky” to it. The event is geared towards the younger trick or treaters.

All the candy, character meets and shows are free, but there are some activities that cost a bit extra such as face painting, cookie decorating and some carnival games. If you attended last year, most everything is the same but expanded a bit further through the park. The Halloween-themed carnival games are also new this year.

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular takes place Oct. 16-17, 23-24, and 29-31. The fun begins at noon.
