Exclusive rental tents have been a fixture at Disney water parks, hotels, and cruise ships for several years, and now for the first time inside a Walt Disney World theme park, you’ll be able rent a private Magic Kingdom cabana for your family starting on November 27.

The new Kingdom Cabanas are located in Tomorrowland near Space Mountain, and have been testing since November 20. Each tent accommodates up to 8 guests, and costs $649 per day to rent (park admission required and not included). In addition to shaded seating and privacy, the rental price includes cold beverage and snack delivery, and reserved viewing for scheduled parades and fireworks during the operating day.

Only the Magic Kingdom will offer private cabanas at this time, but if successful expect them to spread to the other Walt Disney World parks. Cabanas can be reserved by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or visiting the Concierge desk at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

  1. Dumb, ridiculous, preposterous!! Yes, all about the money and how much they can gauge their guests for. What’s next after Tomorrowland? White tents pitched all over the park?

  2. This will take away from the Magic of Disney and the great way the parks have been an
equalizer for those of differing incomes. There should never be any part of the parks
segregated for those who can afford to put themselves above those who pay the same
entrance fees. This will, in my opinion lower the Magic of the Parks where equality has
truly been shown in the mix of those enjoying the same park experience.

  3. Add in extra fast passes and include 2 full means and I would be interested. I can’t afford it regardless but I can see this being successful. I have 3 kids and one is still breastfeeding and needs a nap. This would give my older kids a chance to stay longer.

  4. Stephanie,
The parks have a baby care area for free where you can go breastfeed within the park in a quiet, air conditioned private area. You don’t need to leave early or pay $691 for a tent
    These tents are crazy!
Instead of keep making more jacked up prices to increase revenue to makeup forlower attendance why don’t they reduce the prices some – especially on food- and maybe more people would come spend money. It has gotten so crazy on prices , and reduced quality that people aren’t coming.

  5. They would be worth it, IF they had air conditioning. Considering they hold eight… it would probably be worth it for a large family group to rent it and split the costs.

  6. I called WDW. They are NOT offering private cabanas at Magic Kingdom. This story was a dupe. The representative said they only offer cabanas at the Disney hotels. There are NO CABANAS at Magic Kingdom. Very disappointed in attractionsmagazine.com
