Raytheon to celebrate National Engineers Week at Epcot’s Innoventions

RDC-085

Join Raytheon at Epcot during National Engineers Week Feb. 17-21, 2014 to discover the wonders of science through hands-on experiments led by real scientists.

Inside Innoventions West at Epcot, 20-minute shows will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., hosted by the host of “The Dr. Erika Show.”

At the interactive Science Thrills Live shows, scientists will demonstrate nucleation-triggered eruption (exploding soda), thermoplastic recycling (melting milk jugs), conservation of angular momentum (tug of war), and the strength of air pressure. It’s all in the name of fun (and science), and everyone will walk away with a giveaway.

  1. I love that Raytheon has fully embraced Epcot’s Innoventions. The learning experience for kids at a theme park is very unique. It is great that a company with the Technology of Ratheon is teaming up with Disney to provide these events.
