It might not be believable, but the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium on International Drive has been a part of Orlando’s attractions community for 25 years.
To celebrate the milestone, Ripley’s is hosting a special “Meet a Hero, Be a Hero” event on July 25. On this day, a portion of the proceeds from operation will be donated to Mission Blue Inc., an organization dedicated to helping First Responders who have been hurt while doing their jobs.
Guests will be able to take part in two special activities during the event: an educational visit from firefighters on their fire truck, and a blood drive.
Guests will be able to meet and ask questions of the fire fighters, as well as explore the truck and learn more about how firetrucks work. The Fire Truck Educational Visit will take place from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. This is a free outdoor event, and is open for the public to enjoy.
The Blood Drive will be held for most of the day on July 25, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Each donor to the blood drive will receive free admission to Ripley’s Odditorium for giving their blood and donating their time.
