Shamu Stadium at SeaWorld Orlando will be closing in early January for routine pool maintenance and will be down until April. But guests will still be able to see the killer whales in a new experience.

While One Ocean and Dine With Shamu won’t be available during that time, guests will be able to see an all-new, above and underwater show featuring interactions and sessions with the killer whales called Shamu Up Close.

Throughout each day, guests can experience enhanced presentations designed to show new and different glimpses into the training techniques and relationships the trainers have with the killer whales.

Guests will be able to see this new show from the Dine With Shamu area. Shamu Stadium is scheduled to reopen the week of April 7.
