Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures has opened its new holiday show for this year.

The inaugural season at Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures Dinner & Show continues with a new story that invites families to come together and experience Christmas memories that shaped Dolly and her family.

Independent from Parton’s Dollywood theme park, this new dinner show runs now through Dec. 31, and combines festive holiday music, acrobatics from both performers and canine stars, $2 million in special effects, a mischievous elf, “reindeer games,” a live nativity and more into one spectacular display.

The show is set in a small town, hit by a major snowstorm, leaving the fate of the town’s holiday celebration unknown. The audience joins in for the ride as the cast finds out whether or not their Christmas will be canceled or saved.

“Thanks to the powerful story of when Parton’s parents met and fell in love, Smoky Mountain Adventures has experienced an amazing debut season,” said Jamie Parish, general manager of the dinner and show attraction. “We are excited about sharing more of this special story in our new holiday show, inspired by heartfelt moments that will capture the simple joys of Christmas.”

The food at this wintertime show cannot be missed, and includes tastes inspired by some of Dolly’s favorite holiday recipes: homemade buttery biscuits, pan-fried chicken, spiral ham, a special holiday soup, old-fashioned Southern dressing, buttery corn on the cob, a sweet potato treat, and Southern Peach Pie for dessert. Guests are welcome to unlimited Pepsi, coffee and tea during their meal.
