Special Coke Freestyle flavor and interactive, customizable cup to be available at SeaWorld’s Antarctica

Antarctica at SeaWorld will have a special Coke Freestyle drink available when it opens on May 24 called Vanilla South Pole Chill, and they will offer a unique souvenir cup to go along with it.

customizable seaworld cup that caresSeaWorld will offer the Cup That Cares, a refillable-cup program that tracks your CO₂ savings with every Coca-Cola Freestyle refill in Antarctica. A portion of the proceeds from each Cup That Cares purchase will be donated to the non-profit SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.

The penguin-shaped cup is not only interactive, but also customizable. You can create your own personalized character cup at Glacial Collections. More than 40 accessories are available, including penguin feet, glasses, hats, bow ties, necklaces – even a tiny replica Shamu ice cream bar.

There are two options, both available exclusively in the new Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin attraction atSeaWorld Orlando:
• Cup That Cares souvenir reusable cup – available at the two beverage stations inside the attraction for $9.99 – is adorned with photos of Puck™ and his penguin family. Puck is the hero penguin character featured throughout the new realm.

• Create A Cup That Cares – Guests may build their own personalized penguin-shaped character cup by choosing from more than 40 accessories such as eyes, hair, glasses, hats, bow tie, necklaces and even miniature Shamu ice cream bars and SeaWorld shopping bags. The Create A Cup That Cares will be sold in the Antarctica gift shop, and includes a free first fill at the nearby Antarctica beverage stations. Create A Cup That Cares experience starts at $15.95 with the option to add accessory items.

  1. I wonder if Coke actually created a new flavour for this, or if it’s really just a custom mixture of some of their current flavourings. Either way, I’m surprised that they even went to the trouble of developing new icons and FreeStyle machine programming for a single location.
