Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend returns this weekend at new location

The DoubleTree at Universal will be home to the annual Spooky Empire’s horror convention this weekend, Oct. 25-27, 2013.

It all starts Friday at 4 p.m. with the annual Zombie Walk, this year starting from the Hooters restaurant near the DoubleTree. Walkers are invited to arrive early to get special FX makeup done by expert artists.

• Danielle Harris
• Bill Moseley
• Jason Mewes
• Tom Savini
• Alexa Vega
• and more

For theme park fans, Spooky Empire has partnered with MuckleBones to create a unique walk through experience inspired by The Haunted Mansion attraction. Presented like a wax museum, this tribute will feature some favorite Mansion characters like you’ve never seen them before, including the Attic Bride, Hat Box Ghost and other “Grim Grinning Ghosts.” The display is free to guests of the convention.
