Disney Channel fans will be able to welcome the first Disney Princess inspired by Latin culture when she debuts at Walt Disney World and Disneyland later this year. Princess Elena of Avalor will be appearing at Walt Disney World Resort this summer and at Disneyland Resort in the fall, following her television debut in a new animated series this summer on Disney Channel. According to new concept art, when Princess Fairytale Hall opens early next year, the Disney Princesses will be getting a new look. Cinderella recently debuted a new dress and hair style at the Limited Time Magic announcement in New York City and it looks like the other princesses will follow.
Starting Aug. 26, 2012, Walt Disney World will begin offering children a chance to have their personal seven-inch figurine of their favorite Disney princess, but with their face. The process is very similar to the Carbon Freeze Me experience that debuted a few months ago at Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. [Read more…]
