As soon as I walked into the theater I knew “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” was going to be an interesting play. The first thing I noticed was a dog lying in the middle of the stage, presumably dead with a pitchfork sticking out of it.
The intermission for “The Illusionists” at Dr. Phillips Center has just begun as I write this. A death-defying stunt has just been performed, and as entertaining and real as that was, the show has yet to really put me on the edge of my seat.
ABC’s hit dance competition is going back on the road, and Dancing with the Stars: Live! – We Came to Dance is coming to the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando this winter.

By Quinn Roseboom This past Tuesday I had a pretty good ‘time of my life’ seeing “Dirty Dancing” for the first time at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t the strongest performance I’ve seen at the center.
“Dixie’s Tupperware Party” is a clever, fast-paced show that combines improv, satire, and audience participation. Impressively, it’s also an actual Tupperware party.
