The Disneyland Resort made history with its first ever official LGBTQIA Pride Month celebration with Disneyland After Dark Pride Nite!
About 2,500 people attended the first Gay Days Anaheim in 1998, but now the mix-in event attracts over 30,000 guests to the Disneyland Resort. This year’s Gay Day Anaheim is taking place Sept. 17-19, 2021, with a jam-packed schedule that includes screenings, lectures, and discussions with stars including Jake Borelli (Levi on “Grey’s Anatomy”) and Broadway legends Audra McDonald and Chita Rivera.
The annual GayDays LGBTQ event began on May 30th this year, and once again is the premiere vacation experience for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community, thanks to a weeklong celebration full of events, and its inclusive and welcoming environment.
Arabian Nights announced last November that it was closing and its last dinner show was on Dec 31, 2013. However, the attraction still had contracts to fulfill for private events.
Orlando’s attractions welcomed guests back this week for the 23rd annual Gay Days events. The visit to the Magic Kingdom is the most well-known part of the weekend. However, hotels and parks are completely rented out by independent event organizers for parties during the day and night.
