Walt Disney World has officially announced March 9, 2014 as the debut date for their all-new Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom.

The first full weekend of December each year brings us the filming for the annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade on ABC. We were there for the second day, and have some photos and video to share.
The next Limited Time Magic offering will be a Spring Trolley Show on Main Street U.S.A at the Magic Kingdom. The new trolley show will start this Sunday, March 3, 2013 and run all the way through May 12, 2013. [Read more…]
The first two Starbucks locations in Walt Disney World’s theme parks will open next summer, one at Magic Kingdom and one at Epcot. These two locations will be the first at Disney World parks following the one at Disney California Adventure, which opened this summer. [Read more…]
We don’t know if he officially said the line, but President Obama is “going to Disney World”. He’ll be on Main Street U.S.A. this Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, to be exact. For the 2009 Christmas season, Disney has installed into the Magic Kingdom’s Emporium windows along Main Street U.S.A. the long out-of-view animated window displays based on the holiday favorite, “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.”
Six scenes tell the classic story of Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit and Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge. These scenes were originally on display at the old Disney Village, now Downtown Disney.
Fans of the animated short are sure to enjoy this video tour of the displays:
