The National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institute has revealed its new logo ahead of the first phase of its reopening in fall 2022.

Several weeks ago the Space Shuttle Orbiter Discovery left the Kennedy Space Center on its final flight. It was carried onboard a 747, and was flown to the Dulles Airport outside Washington DC. Discovery was quickly added to the Smithsonian collection, at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
