Terminator 2: 3-D to close at Universal Orlando Resort

Terminator 2: 3-D will close on Oct. 8, 2017.

Universal Orlando Resort announced today that Terminator 2: 3-D at Universal Studios Florida will host its last shows on Sunday, Oct. 8.

The closure is said to make way for a new live action experience based upon a Universal franchise, which will open in 2019.

No further details have been announced. Stay tuned to our website, Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates.

  1. Message to Universal…Please stop closing these awesome nostalgic attractions for low maintenance “rides” like Race through New York that just make people barf.

    1. Race through New York was the last ride I went on before we left. And I hated it.

      Universal is turning into 3D versal and it makes me a bit nauseous after a while.

    1. The heck they do, ET is the only original ride left and Universal just bought Dreamworks, so with a little updating Shrek can and should stay too!!

  2. Universal Orlando signed a contract with Spielberg that if they were to close E.T. they would have to pay him a ridiculous amount of money.

  3. This is a joke far too many ride closures in all parks. Either give a price cut on put on some shows. I should cancel my trip now waste of money.

  4. Good that was the worst ride we went on all holiday. Total waste time as mentioned earlier 3d was shocking and the acting wow talk about low budget
