Carole King composed and wrote so many songs we love and know. “Beautiful – The Carole King Musical” is full of those songs and more. You’ll hear tunes like “So far away”, “Some Kind of Wonderful”, Locomotion”, “One Fine Day”, “You’ve got a Friend” and of course “Beautiful”, as well as so many more!

image002This musical depicts Carole’s life. It starts in her teen years and shows the start of her music career. She has had a lot of ups and down in her life, all of which catapult her into her next creative adventure. She made some life-long friends through the years and has also had the privilege of making music with other music legends along the way.

You’ll see how certain points in her life inspired the songs you know. It makes you nostalgic for that era, whether you lived them or not!

The sets and period costumes bring you right back to the ’50s and ’60s. They touch on the fact that almost everyone smoked back then (inside too). All of the cast members have beautiful voices and the well-written script will make you laugh out loud, cry, shake your head in disbelief and clap your hands.

“Beautiful – The Carole King Musical” is being performed at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando now through Sunday, May 8, 2016. Tickets start at $38.75. Click here for more information and tickets. It’s a great Mother’s Day present!
