Tropical Hideaway dining spot coming to Disneyland’s Adventureland

Tropical Hideaway
Disneyland is creating a new Tropical Hideaway inside Adventureland’s old Aladdin’s Oasis.

A new Tropical Hideaway will soon emerge in Disneyland, adding another eating and drinking option to the original Adventureland.

The Disney Parks Blog has unveiled concept art for the Tropical Hideaway, which is described as a “one-of-a-kind destination” and a “popular rest stop for Adventureland locals and weary explorers alike.” Tropical Hideaway will be located between the Enchanted Tiki Room and Jungle Cruise attractions, in a spot previously known as Aladdin’s Oasis, and before that the Tahitian Terrace.

Guests at the Tropical Hideaway will be able to “rub elbows with their favorite skippers in an exotic traders’ market, featuring all of the sights, sounds and flavors of the tropics.” According to the Orange County Register, the new venue will serve food and drink, but will not offer table service dining or alcohol.

Concept art depicts a courtyard filled with dining tables, a tiki bird (possibly animatronic) on a perch, and plenty of blazing tiki torches. No opening date or menu details have been released yet.
