True Love week to take over Walt Disney World for Limited Time Magic
Love will be in the air while the parks celebrate the romantic True Love Week from Feb. 11 through 17, 2013. The weeklong celebration is a part of Limited Time Magic and will feature meet and greets with princes and princesses, Valentines day merchandise and more.
Guests will feel the love around every corner at the Magic Kingdom with banners proclaiming True Love, heart-shaped signage and sweetheart-themed décor. At dusk, hues of pink, red, lavender and blue will cover Cinderella Castle with themed lighting synced to music adding to the ambiance of the park. Limited-edition pins, plushes, newly-designed apparel and Vinylmation will be available at select merchandise locations.
In Town Square Theater, guests will be able to find Mickey and Minnie, Aurora with Phillip or Rapunzel with Flynn. Mary Poppins will be joining Bert in Fantasyland, while Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana meet guests in the Enchanted Glade in Liberty Square. New Fantasyland will be home to Cinderella’s Glass Coach, which will be located by the new castle wall. Hearts and flowers will enhance Cinderella’s Wishing Well creating the perfect backdrop for couples and The Rose Garden in Central Plaza will be decked out in Valentine’s decor as well.
Candlelit dinners will also be available for two with prix fixe menus at select restaurants during the most romantic week of the year. The 4th of July is seven days long this year as Disney salutes America with a 4th of July Fireworks Party. Everything will be red, white and blue, from the fireworks and Cinderella Castle down to special-edition U.S.A. shirts, ear hats and other patriotic souvenirs.
Unleash the Villains – Friday, Sep 13, 2013 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Disney villains are taking over Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Join in the fun for a night of mischief and a villainous dance party that will last until the 13th hour (1 a.m.).
