The app is free and currently available in both the App store and the Google Play store on mobile devices. It has many features that put guests into their favorite Universal movies including:

  • 3D experiences
  • Compete with their friends in gameplay
  • Unlock awards and special content
  • Create Virtual Postcards of family and friends with some of Universal Studios Florida’s most popular characters, and then share the fun on Facebook and Twitter.

For the best experience, guests are recommended to download Universal ScreenPlay via Wi-FI before your park visit and allow ScreenPlay to access their Camera Roll to enable all functions. Once guests are in the park, they can simply look for the ScreenPlay signs and follow directions on their device to enjoy the app. If you aren’t going to be at the park anytime soon, we have taken pictures of some of the signs in the park and you can hold the app up to our photos of the posters to activate the experiences from home.

  1. I go to the parks all the time, but I can’t get it because Universal doesn’t seem to realize that Windows Phones exist. I can’t get Minion Rush either… -sigh-
