Voodoo Doughnut is now officially open at Universal Orlando Resort, after soft-opening earlier this spring.

Voodoo Doughnut is now officially open at Universal CityWalk after soft-opening this past March, and features a lineup of more than 50 different and delightfully weird types of doughnuts.

Co-founders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon led the celebration, and for the first time ever, introduced their brand’s icon, the Baron of Voodoo Doughnut. This is their eighth location, and their second Universal Parks & Resorts location, after the opening of Voodoo Doughnut at Universal Studios Hollywood over a year ago.

This new Voodoo Doughnut location has plenty of doughnuts to choose from.

The new Orlando location is also the first Voodoo Doughnut on the east coast.

Guests will be able to enjoy signature and one-of-a-kind creations like the savory and sweet Bacon Maple Bar; the Grape Ape, covered in grape dust and lavender sprinkles; and the iconic Voodoo Doll doughnut, filled with raspberry jelly and topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake.

For guests who are interested in trying even more doughnuts, they can purchase a Coffin of Doughnuts, which features a handmade wooden coffin filled with three dozen doughnuts.

Guests can also take in the quirky venue, featuring art created by Portland locals and an enormous doughnut throne exclusive to the location. Also unique to this location is a decorating counter, where guests can watch as the master decorators prepare the icing and toppings for fan-favorites like Memphis Mafia, Mango Tango and Oh Captain, My Captain.
