Brandon Fla. mall debuts new Sesame Street Safari of Fun play area

Early this morning, the Westfield Brandon mall held its grand opening of the new play area themed after Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Sesame Street Safari of Fun.

The grand opening kicked off at 10 a.m. when the mall opened and there were a ton of guests on hand waiting to experience the new play area. The grand opening featured animal ambassadors and stilt walkers from Busch Gardens. Sesame Street characters such as Cookie Monster and Elmo were on hand to meet and greet guests in their African attire.

“Busch Gardens’ Sesame Street Safari of Fun was the perfect attraction to bring to life in Westfield Brandon’s new play area,” said Jim Dean, park president of Busch Gardens and Adventure Islands. “Busch Gardens is focused on celebrating, connecting with and caring among families in the community and around the world, which aligns perfectly with one of Westfield Brandon’s key core objectives.”
