Tavares will welcome The Wizard of Oz Train Ride starting on June 8.

Fans of Dorothy and her magical friends can follow the Yellow Brick Road by rail this June when The Wizard of Oz Train Ride arrives in Tavares, Florida from June 8-24, 2018.

The Wizard of Oz Train Ride debuts in the Orlando area beginning June 8. The attraction is presented by Warner Bros. Guests will board the train with Dorothy and several of her special friends as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City. Along the way, they can enjoy refreshments and live onboard entertainment featuring Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion set to the sounds of the motion picture. Guests will help them defeat the Wicked Witch of the West before arriving at the Emerald City and meeting OZ himself during a live stage show, after which they will receive a special gift.

The entire experience will last approximately two hours. Check-in will begin one and a half hours before the scheduled show time.  You need to plan on checking in no later than thirty (30) minutes prior to show time. Restrooms will be available onboard the train as well as The Emerald City. Free parking is located at the Lake County Parking Garage, located at 200 N Sinclair Ave, Tavares, FL 32778.
