Allergy-friendly trick-or-treating available at 2016 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party now has a new allergy-friendly trick-or-treating policy.

Kids (and adults) with food allergies can finally join in the candy-collecting fun at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, because the Magic Kingdom has introduced a new allergy-friendly trick-or-treating policy for 2016.

Guests with food allergies attending the after-hours party can ask for a teal trick-or-treating bag, which alerts cast members on the treat trails around the park to their special need. The teal trick-or-treat bags can be obtained at Market Street, City Hall, Town Square Theatre, Heritage House, or any trick-or-treat location.

Guests then go through the trail just like everyone else, but collect teal tokens instead of candy. They can then go to the designated Allergy-Friendly Centers at Heritage House or Town Square Theater, where the tokens can be traded in for snacks and non-edible treats free of the eight most common allergy-triggering ingredients (a complete list is available upon request). Collecting tokens isn’t actually required; they’ll treat you at the Allergy-Friendly Centers even without them.
