American Pie Council Pie Party benefits Give Kids the World on April 30

Pie day (March 14) may be a couple weeks in the past, but the end of April is the perfect time to indulge in sweets and support Give Kids the World at the American Pie Council Pie Party.

The Pie Party will be held on from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 30, 2016 at Orlando’s Caribe Royale Hotel as part of the APC National Pie Championships. Admission is free, and you can taste two slices of pie for just $5, and beverages will be available for purchase.

In addition to eating pies, you’ll be able to watch Legendary Baking build a 200 lbs fruit pie, watch the pie pros engage in an “Iron Chef”-style competition, and even test your skills in a dough-rolling contest.

Most importantly, all proceeds will benefit Give Kids the World, which provides free Orlando vacations to seriously ill children and their families. For more information about the event, visit piecouncil.org.
