Blackpool Pleasure Beach to sell original Wild Mouse car for charity

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is offering fans the chance to own a piece of history – an original car from their Wild Mouse attraction.

One of only eight cars in total, Car Number 6 will be available to purchase on eBay as a Buy It Now item starting midday on Thursday, Nov. 8. The car is in good condition and branded with its original Blackpool Pleasure Beach design, along with its car number and name.

The car features all of its original artwork and features, such as the eyes, nose, and whiskers, plus the popular print design.

The lucky buyer who purchases the ride car will see their money go toward a great case – the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Foundation. This charity provides scholarship, career and mentoring opportunities for hopefuls in the global attractions industry.

Since the ride car weighs 221 kilograms (487 pounds), the buyer will have to collect their prize in person or arrange a courier service to pick it up.
