Sesame Street Halloween Kids’ Weekends are bringing The Count and friends to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Proving that theme parks in October aren’t only for horror-addicted adults, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will host Sesame Street Halloween Kids’ Weekends this October, featuring a hay bale maze, animal encounters, character parades, and trick-or-treat candy stations.

This year’s Sesame Street Halloween Kids’ events at Busch Gardens Tampa will be spread over two weekends, each with its own theme. The first weekend (October 22 & 23) will be themed after Count von Count, the famous Sesame Street vampire, where he’ll help you count your way through a “batty” Halloween maze. Monsters & Fairies weekend will follow on October 29 & 30, with Halloween-themed arts and crafts to transform the kids into a magical fairy like Abby Cadabby or a loveable monster like Elmo.

Kids events on all four days will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p. m. at Sesame Street Safari of Fun in Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Each day will feature beloved Sesame Street characters in their Halloween costumes with special appearances by Count von Count, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and other characters. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes, too. Character parades will take place at the top of every hour of the event. Plus, guests can expect kid-friendly music along with the chance to meet with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s animal ambassadors.

Busch Gardens’ family Halloween events are included in regular park admission.
