Summer Nights returns to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this Memorial Day weekend.

When the sun goes down, the night comes to life at Busch Gardens with their Summer Nights event, starting earlier than every this year on May 25. The event will feature extended park hours, electric energy and coasters that will light up the night.

“We are excited to bring back our Summer Nights annual event this year earlier than ever, just in time for Memorial Day and the end of the school year,” said Stewart Clark, president and general manager at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. “Summer Nights is full of fun for everyone with longer hours, unique entertainment, and some of the best thrill rides in a whole new light.”

Starting Memorial Day weekend, guests can enjoy Summer Nights with any park admission through Aug. 5.

Summer Nights will feature three themed party zones located at the Bird Gardens, Cheetah Hunt Plaza and Stanleyville areas of the park. Guests can dance and party into the night, as well as enjoy summer-inspired culinary offerings at each location.

Guests can celebrate the summer at the newest party zone, Backyard BBQ, which will take over the Bird Gardens this year. The zone will feature live, local music and classic American food with a twist, including a chicken waffle sandwich with blackberry pepper jelly, St. Louis ribs with Cherry Coke BBQ sauce, and smoked beef brisket sliders with Jack Daniel’s and Coke BBQ sauce and peach slaw. Guests will be able to sip on beverages like old fashioned lemonade, bourbon cream root beer and special “dreamsicle floatinis.”

Cheetah Hunt Plaza will transform into the ¡Fiesta Festa! party zone, and include lively entertainment and a matching flavor-packed menu, including steak chimichurri with yucca fries, beef empanadas and tostones, and seasoned pork sliders with avocado puree. The zone will also feature tequila and margarita bars, along with additional drink options like Moscow mules, frozen sangria and a selection of wines.

The Vibin’ Village party zone will take over the Staneyville area this year, with fun and unique culinary offerings like traditional hummus with curry-roasted cauliflower and pita chips, chilled shrimp with watermelon and tamarind glaze, and funnel cake with strawberry and kiwi sauces, as well as international and domestic beers.

Busch Gardens’ coasters will help to light up the night, as Falcon’s Fury, Cheetah Hunt, SheiKra and Cobra’s Curse will include lights and sounds as they take guests on new and thrilling adventures.
