Captain Marvel figure lands at Madame Tussauds New York City

Madame Tussauds New York recently celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 by revealing its first-ever wax figure of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel at the Intrepid, Sea, Air & Space Museum.

Marvel’s newest heroine is now on display at Madame Tussauds New York.

Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, a former US Air Force pilot, can be seen striking a powerful pose in front of the New York City skyline before taking her place at Madame Tussauds New York.

“Today, first and foremost, we’re excited to celebrate International Women’s Day and women who embody strength, bravery, and achievement celebrated globally today, and every day,” said Christine Haughney, regional head of marketing at Merlin Entertainments, plc. “We can’t wait for fans to see and feel the presence of Captain Marvel on screen and in person at Madame Tussauds and hope her character inspires fearless females all around the world.”

Guests can now soar through the skies with Captain Marvel as part of an interactive experience in the attraction’s Marvel Super Hero Zone. Guests can now find Carol Danvers alongside the Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Spider-Man, and more in this experience that combines 4D film with special effects.
