Choza de Margarita finally opens at Epcot’s World Showcase

Choza de Margarita is now open for guests in the World Showcase.

The construction walls have come down, as the long-awaited Choza de Margarita is finally open in the Mexico Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot.

This new walk-up window offers authentic Mexican beverages and street fare. The menu includes three hand-crafted margaritas, three frozen margaritas, three Mexican beers, and a non-alcoholic Mexican fruit punch.

The street food includes Empanadas de Barbacoa with beef, chipotle sauce, Mexican cream and queso fresco; Tacos al Pastor with grilled pork on homemade corn tortillalas, green tomatoillo sauce, pineapple, onion and cilantro; and guacamole with mango chutney, pomegranate and pumpkin seeds, served with fried flour chicharrones and salsa Valentina – an authentic Mexican hot sauce.

The Mexican beer offerings include Cerveza Pacifico, Dos Equis Ambar, and a Michelada, for $8.75 and $9.75 each, respectively.

Guests can choose between three frozen margaritas: Lime, made with tequila blanco, orange liquor, lime sweet and sour and agave nectar; Wild Strawberry, made with tequila blanco, violet flower liquor, strawberry and prickly pear puree and lime juice; or Passion Mango, made with tequila blanco, wild passion fruit and mango puree and orange liqueur. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try the “Fiesta,” which is a combination of all three frozen beverages.

As for the on-the-rocks offerings, Choza de Margarita offers Lime Cucumber, made with Avión Blanco Tequila, orange liqueur, fresh cucumber, lime juice and agave nectar; Acan Grapefruit, made with Casa Noble Blanco Tequila, grapefruit liqueur, cardamom bitters, ginger beer, elderflower cordial and lemon juice; and Guava Pink Peppercorn, made with Zignum Mexcal Reposado, grapefruit liqueur, Peychaud’s Bitters, guava nectar, lime juice and pink peppercorns.

The frozen margaritas range from $10.25 to $10.50 each, while the signature margaritas are between $14 and $14.50 each.
