Full schedule revealed for D23 Expo 2019, featuring Star Wars, Marvel and more

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has announced the lineup of presentations for D23 Expo 2019, happening Aug. 23-25 in Anaheim, Calif.

The Disney Legends Awards Ceremony, hosted by Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger, will kick off the event on Friday morning, Aug. 23. That same day, Disney+ will showcase its fall slate that will debut with launch in the U.S. on Nov. 12. On Saturday morning, The Walt Disney Studios will give attendees a sneak peek at upcoming films from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm. On Sunday morning, guests will get a preview of what’s in store for the Disney Parks during a presentation hosted by Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products.

These must-see presentations will be held in “Hall D23,” the 6,800-seat venue located in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center. Check out the full Hall D23 schedule below:

The Disney Legends Awards Ceremony – 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 23

The ceremony will be hosted by Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger, and will honor those who have contributed to the Disney legacy. This year’s recipients are: Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, James Earl Jones, Bette Midler, Kenny Ortega, Wing Chao, Barnette Ricci, Robin Roberts, Diane Sawyer, Ming-Na Wen, and Hans Zimmer.

Disney+ Presentation – 3:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 23

The highly-anticipated streaming service will give fans a first glimpse of some of the original content that will be available at launch on Nov. 12, including the live-action “Lady and the Tramp,” “The Mandalorian,” “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” and more.

The Walt Disney Studios Presentation – 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24

Fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming films from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios, as well as a look at live-action projects from Disney, Marvel Studios, and Star Wars. Attendees will be treated to exclusive footage, special guest appearances and more.

Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Presentation – 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 25

Disney Parks Chairman Bob Chapek will showcase what’s new and what’s coming to the parks and resorts around the world, including new details on the upcoming transformation of Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort.


Single-day tickets for Friday and Sunday of the event are still available, priced at $89 for one-day adult admission and $69 for children ages 3-9. Gold Members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club can purchase tickets at $77 for a one-day adult admission and $59 for children. Single-day Saturday tickets and three-day passes are now sold out.
