Disney Fantasy to embark on special Bahamian cruise this August
This August, the Disney Fantasy will set sail on a special three-night Bahamian cruise out of Port Canaveral.
Normally the Disney Fantasy sails 7-night or longer cruises, so this is a special chance to enjoy a three-night cruise with this ship’s unique offerings.
A chance to experience a short Bahamian cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy doesn’t happen that often. Guests will be able to explore Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, along with Nassau, Bahamas, and then return to the vessel each night. Activities will include everything from snorkeling and swimming with dolphins and stingrays to relaxing on sandy beaches.
While each Disney Cruise Line ship offers a selection of live shows and entertainment, the Disney Fantasy is the only vessel in the fleet where guests can see “Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” and “Disney Wishes” while onboard.
Exclusively aboard the Fantasy is “Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea,” which only takes place on select sailings this summer – including the three-night Bahamian cruise in August. This is one deck party you won’t want to miss.
The Disney Fantasy also hosts the old-fashioned ice cream parlor, Sweet on You, which serves up hand-crafted gelato, ice cream, specialty sundaes, and other treats. This ice cream shop is themed after the iconic Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts, and it great for an Instagram-worthy photo with friends and family.
Europa, a dedicated adult-only destination with themed lounges and nightclubs, is another offering unique to the Disney Fantasy. Each of its three venues offers a different atmosphere:
- Ooh La La – Elegant décor is the perfect backdrop for intimate conversations
- The Tube – Visit if you’re looking to dance the night away
- La Piazza – Offers romantic couples booths for those looking for privacy
