Disney Parks Designer Collection ears coming to parks, shopDisney starting May 24

Starting May 24, guests visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort will get the chance to buy a series of limited-release Mickey Mouse ears and Minnie Mouse ear headbands that, for the first time ever, were designed by celebrities, designers, Imagineers, and artists.

The all-new Disney Parks Designer Collection will feature new designs each month, like a bridal-inspired design with hand-sewn crystal and pearl embroidery by Vera Wang, a crystal-encrusted ear hat from The Blonds, a pink-puffed ear headband by Betsey Johnson, a mommy-and-daughter set by Cupcakes and Cashmere, and a genuine crafted leather floral-inspired ear headband by Coach.

Supermodel, TV host and entrepreneur Heidi Klum also designed a pair of ears coming this fall, which you can see in the photo above. In early 2020, another headband will hit store shelves, this time created by American supermodel and entrepreneur Karlie Kloss.

Other designers for the Disney Parks Designer Collection include Harveys, Alex and Ani, Loungefly, and actress Ashley Eckstein for Her Universe.

Artists from around the world will also share their take on the classic Disney accessory. Some designs from artists featured in the WonderGround Art Galleries include Noah, Shag, Jerrod Maruyama, Dave Perillo, and John Coulter.

Many of the upcoming designs in the collection are inspired by Disney characters and attractions, including an Enchanted Tiki Room-inspired set, and other designs by Disney Imagineers – like Kim Irvine, Kevin Rafferty and Joe Rohde.

As for pricing, the designer ears will run from $60-$600.

These new designs will be available at The Disney Dress Shop, Disneyana and Off the Page at the Disneyland Resort in California, and at Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories, MouseGear, Uptown Jewelers, Once Upon a Time and Discovery Trading Company at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
