Disney Skyliner opening date revealed for Walt Disney World
A new era of Disney transportation is upon us! Walt Disney World has announced the opening date for the Disney Skyliner gondolas.
Starting Sept. 29, these gondolas will take flight and transport guests around the Walt Disney World Resort in a fun and whimsical way. This new transportation system will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four Disney resort hotels: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the new Disney’s Riviera Resort when it opens this December.
There are 22 different Skyliner designs, and they all feature your favorite Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters and Disney Parks icons. Some of these include:
- Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip & Dale
- “Coco”
- “Finding Dory”
- Haunted Mansion
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- “Frozen”
