The holidays are almost here at the Disneyland Resort.

Festivities this year include plenty of holiday entertainment and experiences throughout both parks, like the Disney Festival of Holidays and the “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular.

Disneyland

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will delight guests from day to night with glistening icicles and twinkling lights. At night, the “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular will take to the skies.

Mickey and Minnie, the Disney Princess, and Santa Claus himself will celebrate the holiday season in “A Christmas Fantasy” parade. The daily procession will feature music, floats, and marching tin soldiers.

A 60-foot tall Christmas Tree will stand in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., a perfect backdrop for holiday photos. This year, the tree will include new lighting and decorations – with 3,500 multi-colored lights, 1,500 Victorian-inspired ornaments, and 100 faux candles that range from 12-22 inches tall.

Disneyland guests will also have the chance to experience unique holiday overlays of classic attractions. “it’s a small world” will become “it’s a small world” Holiday, as children’s dolls and toys from all over the world will celebrate the holiday traditions of their countries.

The Haunted Mansion will also transform into the beloved “Haunted Mansion Holiday,” featuring Jack Skellington and other characters from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

Disney California Adventure Park

The Disney Festival of Holidays brings the spirit of the season to life through entertainment and delicious food at the Festive Foods Marketplace. Guests can enjoy a variety of holiday food and beverages that honor many cultures and traditions.

The event will include musical and dance performances by the Holiday Toy Drummers, Mostly Kosher, Blue13 Dance Company, The Sound, and the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas.

The Three Caballeros will once again host the fan-favorite “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” street party, featuring folkórico and samba dancers, live musicians, and Mickey and Minnie in their festive outfits.

Princess Elena will make an appearance during “Princess Elena’s Musical Grand Arrival,” alongside her magical friend Skylar as royal dancers as they celebrate the joy of the holidays.

Cars Land will be transformed for the holidays, as each stop along Route 66 will get a holiday makeover that reflects the personality of its “Cars” resident. In addition, two of the land’s attractions will get their own holiday overlay, turning into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Guests can enjoy fun holiday-themed activities with Santa Claus and his elves at Santa’s Holiday Visit at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail through Dec. 24. From Dec. 25 – Jan. 6, Santa Goofy takes over for the big guy in red at this location.

As day turns to night, guests strolling through Grizzly Peak can experience a touch of winter weather with an occasional snowfall.

A magnificent 50-foot Christmas tree will adorn Carthay Circle along Buena Vista Street. The tree and its surrounding buildings will be decorated with vintage-style ornaments.

Downtown Disney District

Guests will be able to shop, eat, and enjoy holiday entertainment in Downtown Disney. The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will also join in the Christmas festivities with holiday decorations, displays, special entertainment, and holiday-inspired food and beverage offerings.
