Guests are invited to take a selfie with the formerly submerged giant sea serpent from “The Submarine Voyage” ride, dance with six “it’s a Small World” figures, pose with all four original Haunted Mansion stretching room paintings, practice whistling with José, the audio-animatronic Enchanted Tiki Room bird, and take flight in a pirate ship from Peter Pan’s Flight.

This exhibit will bring back plenty of nostalgia as it encompasses six decades of Disneyland Park history, including conceptual drawings and blueprints of the park that almost was.

“That’s From Disneyland!” will come to an end with a two-day auction of the collection, with over 750 items that capture the true heart and imagination of Disneyland. This is the largest auction that Van Eaton Galleries has ever offered to the public.

The collection belongs to Richard Kraft, an agent who represents composers for Broadway and film, including Disney Legends Alan Menken and Richard M. Sherman. Kraft began his collection of Disneyland artifacts when his brother David passed away, gathering all sorts of items like a Mr. Toad car, a PeopleMover, and even an 800-pound Dumbo ride vehicle.

“This exhibit is the ultimate bon voyage party to a collection that has brought me so much joy over the years,” said Kraft.

Van Eaton Galleries will be hosting the two-day auction of Kraft’s entire collection on Aug. 25-26. To learn more about the exhibit, and to participate in live internet bidding, visit VEGalleries.com.
