Enjoy the Spook-tacular Seasonal Décor

In the lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, a fang-tastic edible display of pumpkins can be seen.

These pumpkins feature the ghostly apparition of Oogie Boogie, and are built from cereal treats, icing, chocolate, and fondant. Disneyland’s pastry chefs used over 200 pounds of icing, 100 pounds of chocolate, and 300 pounds of fondant to create the display, which features 13 hidden Mickeys!

Other dreary decorations can be found surrounding the Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel features a fun pirate theme. The pirates have hoisted their Jolly Roger flag in the lobby, and invite all buccaneers for fun at “Pirates Pier”.

Exclusive Trick-or-Treating for Hotel Guests

On select afternoons from Oct. 2-31, overnight guests of the Disneyland Resort hotels are invited to take part in complimentary trick-or-treating festivities. Disney’s Grand Californian, the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will have a treat map of locations for little ghosts and goblins to visit.

The hotels are offering fun activities for kids like coloring pages, bat mask decorating, and create-your-own pirate hats. Cookie decorating kids are also available for an additional fee. Hotel guests can sign up for the trick-or-treating experience at the Guest Services desk.

Surprise Your Family with an In-Room Pumpkin Bucket

Plan a sweet Halloween treat (no tricks!) with this gift delivered right to your Disneyland Resort hotel room. The Halloween Treats Pumpkin Bucket can be specially arranged with Disney Floral & Gifts cast members to be perfect for your favorite ghoul.
