Dollywood searching for next panel of park insiders
Dollywood is searching once again for its next panel of park insiders who will share their experiences and vacation tips through online content.
For the past three seasons, park guests have been able to find helpful information on Dollywood blogs and social media channels thanks to this panel of insiders. Now hopefuls can apply to join the fourth panel of Dollywood Insiders.
From money-saving suggestions to traffic tips, dining recommendations and those things that can’t-be-missed, Dollywood Insiders offer expert guest advice to help others in planning their trip to the Smoky Mountains theme park. This content is shared through a blog, photos and video content.
“As we have grown our Dollywood Insider program, we have added value to our guests’ experience – elevating regular guests to experts who trade best-practice secrets when it comes to spending a day at our park,” said Pete Owens, vice president of Marketing and Public Relations. “These people who serve on our panel are relatable. They don’t get a pay check to say what they’re saying and that resonates with our guests.”
Past panelists include moms, dads, grandmas, single parents, professionals, bloggers, theme park enthusiasts and more. Dollywood chooses their insiders from all walks of life to better represent the guests they welcome into the park. These insiders represent many communities in the Southeast, from Knoxville to Atlanta and beyond.
Hopeful panelists are tasked with pitching and executing creative blogs and videos that help guests learn more about Dollywood, Dollywood’s Splash Country, Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins. Once chosen, insiders will serve on the panel for a one-year term and then can re-apply, if interested. Perks of this unique role include behind-the-scenes access, tickets and invitations to media events.
Applications must be submitted online by Monday, July 22. After interviews, panelists will be chosen and notified by July 29. You can apply here.
