Fantasm Orlando haunt and horror convention coming this October

Fantasm Orlando, a horror and haunt convention, will descend upon Central Florida this October, bringing frightful fun and celebrities for fear fans.

From Oct. 11-13, Fantasm Orlando will take over the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. The event will feature not only appearances by guests like director Don Coscarelli (“Phantasm,” “Bubba Ho-Tep”) and stars like Naomi Grossman (Pepper from “American Horror Story”) and Michael Berryman (“The Hills Have Eyes,” “Weird Science”), but will also offer stage entertainment.

“Killer Kabaret”, cabaret-style song and dance from horror icons and villains, and “Nevermore: The Imaginary and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allen Poe” will add adult comedy to the weekend. Guests can also enjoy performances from Central Florida’s original Victorian horror troupe, Phantasmagoria.

  • Killer Kabaret (18+) – direct from their New York City debut, villains and horror icons will take the stage in a cabaret-style show from Rainbow Sun Productions
  • “Nevermore: The Imaginary and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allen Poe” – a macabre musical about the life of Edgar Allen Poe from Rainbow Sun Productions (Florida premiere of an off-Broadway show)
  • “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Burlesque Adventure” – a strict 18+ burlesque show from Speakeasy Sirens
  • Costume contest, panels, vendors, tattoo artists and more
