Guests can start their Festival of Nations adventure by taking in the new headlining shows visiting Dollywood this season. Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba is a fusion dance and music company that combines Caribbean and Hispanic cultures into every performance. The group has been together for more than 25 years and has performed on five continents. Guests can see this group in DP’s Celebrity Theater.

Drumkstruck is another new headliner for this year, which will make guests a part of the show. Performing at Showstreet Palace Theater, guests will find drums placed in each seat. The audience can use these drums to become a part of the performance, playing along with those onstage. This high-energy show combines South African music and culture with West African rhythms.

With the Passport to Food offering, guests can enjoy an international menu filled with dishes from a number of countries, including cheese curds from Canada, beef bulgogi nachos over wonton chips from South Korea, and grilled beef skewers from Trinidad. A variety of drinks are also available to complement the dishes, and guests can finish off their sampling with a range of international pastries and desserts.

Chef Pepin, a celebrity chef from Cuba, will host several cooking demonstrations during the opening weekend of the festival, while other chefs will share their secrets every following weekend of Festival of Nations. Cooking demonstrations are currently scheduled for each Saturday and Sunday at noon and 2 p.m. in Dollywood’s Market Square area.
