Disneyland releases costume guidelines for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

The Disney Parks Blog has shared clearer guidelines of what costumes are and aren’t allowed inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park.

For guests looking to expand their Star Wars story, the current Disneyland Resort costume policy is still in place, but there are ways to express your fashionable side while staying within the guidelines:

Permitted attire includes:

  • Disneybounding: putting together traditional clothing items that serve as a recognizable tribute to Star Wars characters
  • Batuuan attire: outfits inspired by the villagers of Batuu – including muted tones, vests, layers, etc.

Not permitted attire includes:

  • All robes or military-style attire
  • Masks, face paint, elaborate headwear, blasters or holsters (lightsabers are allowed) or hard items like body armor, helmets or kneepads
  • Full character suits
