Ghostbusters Fan Fest celebrates 35th anniversary of iconic film

This weekend, if there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? Sony Pictures! On June 7 and 8, Sony Pictures is teaming up with Wizard World for the first-ever Ghostbusters Fan Fest.

Ghostbusters Fan Fest will be held on the famous Sony Pictures Studio Lot in Culver City, Calif. and will feature special guests, events, and treats for attendees. Some of the special guests will include “Ghostbusters” stars Dan Aykroyd (Dr. Raymond Stantz), Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore), William Atherton (Walter Peck), and many more.

On top of a star-studded panel, many notable figures from the franchise’s creative history will be in attendance. Directors Ivan Reitman (“Ghostbusters,” “Ghostbusters II”), Paul Feig (“Ghostbusters: Answer the Call“), and Jason Reitman (Untitled Ghostbusters Project [2020]) will be hosting their own panel at the festival.

Guests will have the chance to meet the cast and crew of “Ghostbusters,” attend celebrity panels, and have access to exclusive programming, attractions, and collectibles.

Ticket packages start at $149.99 for general admission, and $99 for a youth ticket. The base ticket offers guests access to panels on the Sony Pictures Lot and a Friday Night screening of the original “Ghostbusters.”

Other ticket packages come in a large range of prices and can be as expensive as $1,499.99 (Class 10 ticket). The Class 10 ticket will offer group photos with members of the 1984 film and an exclusive breakfast with the talent.
