First look at Universal Orlando’s upcoming ‘Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ coaster
Pottermore has released an exclusive new look at artwork for the upcoming roller coaster attraction coming to “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Universal Orlando Resort in 2019.
The new coaster, which is being built in the footprint of the now-closed Dragon Challenge coaster in the Hogsmeade area, will immerse guests in an ‘all-new adventure in the next installment of the Wizarding World.’ Many believe this will be a trip into the Forbidden Forest.
The artwork depicts Hogwarts castle in the background, with a mysterious, abandoned building that many fans thought was the Great Hall off to the left. In the foreground, we see a banked curve rise from the trees, and a few mischievous Cornish Pixies, ready to cause some chaos for riders.
The ride will join the ranks of the other Wizarding World attractions at Universal Orlando, including “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey,” “Flight of the Hippogriff,” and “Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.”
More information will be revealed on this new ride in early 2019. To learn more about other Harry Potter offerings at Universal Orlando Resort, visit UniversalOrlando.com.

When will it be released?
I think it should be called Nagini.
The castle is unplottable. When Muggles approach it, it looks like a mouldering ruin with sign that says to keep out that it is unsafe.
Probably summer of 2019. The WWHP opened June 2010, and Diagon Alley July 2014.
I think it should be called “Harry and the Adventure to the Forbidden Forest”, It would be fun to add some animatronics of the creatures from the forest and maybe add the whomping willow.
