Six Harry Potter experiences are coming to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London in 2018, packing the new year with plenty of fun for every Harry Potter fan.

Introducing the Art Department

Kicking off the year will be “Introducing the Art Department,” running from Friday, Feb. 9 – Monday, Feb. 19. Guests will discover the artistry behind every detail of the Wizarding World, from technical drawings and white card models to concept art and prop-making.

During this exhibit, the Studio Tour will host some fo the original members of the Art Department, who will demonstrate a range of techniques used in the films, including a live wand-making demonstration. Each area of the Art Department will be introduced in a video by award-winning Production Designer Stuart Craig, which was recorded exclusively for the exhibit.

Valentine’s Dinner in the Great Hall

Couples can spend a special Valentine’s weekend with a romantic dinner hosted by Warner Bros. Studio Tour London in the iconic Great Hall on Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10. Couples will enjoy drinks and canapés before they settle into a three-course meal on the set. Guests will also receive exclusive after-hours access to the Studio Tour, a tankard of Butterbeer and their choice of wand to remember their Valentine’s evening. Tickets for this event go on sale on Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.

Goblet of Fire

The Studio Tour will celebrate all things Goblet of Fire in this exhibit that is set to run for almost five months, from Friday, March 30 – Sunday, Sept. 23. The goblet will return to the Great Hall for the first time since filming ended, with live demonstrations to show guests how the parchment pieces shot out to reveal the Triwizard Tournament participants. Many new props and costumes from the Triwizard Tournament will also be on display, including those belonging to Fred and George Weasley, and Barty Crouch, Jr.

Secrets will be revealed…

Starting July 6 – Sept. 23, a brand-new feature will be available for guests to experience at the Studio Tour. More details will be revealed in the future.

Dark Arts

From Friday, Sept. 28 – Sunday, Nov. 11, the Halloween season will be full of filmmaking secrets behind the Wizarding World’s Dark  Arts. The Great Hall set will be decorated with over 100 pumpkins floating above a Halloween feast dressing the long tables. Visitors can test out their best combat moves against Death Eaters in a live duel demonstration, or take a walk down a darker, spookier Diagon Alley.

Hogwarts in the Snow

Concluding 2018 will be the return on the popular festive exhibit, “Hogwarts in the Snow,” from Saturday, Nov. 17 – Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019. Part of the Great Hall set will be transformed for the Yule Ball, and the Gryffindor common room will also be dressed for the season. Visitors will also be able to see a blanket of filmmaking snow cover the Hogwarts castle model, as well as touch the different types of “snow” used during filming.
