New Hello Kitty Cafe pop-up now open in Las Vegas

Sanrio, the global brand known best for the pop culture icon Hello Kitty, has opened a new Hello Kitty Cafe at The Park, located on The Strip between New York-New York and Park MGM.

The Mini Cafe Pop-Up offers a fun outdoor cafe experience that celebrates all things Hello Kitty and Las Vegas, along with collectible merchandise and themed treats.

The pop-up is the first of its kind in Nevada, following the success of its sister locations in California, which include the Hello Kitty Grand Cafe in Irvine, and Hello Kitty Mini Cafe in San Jose, along with two Hello Kitty Cafe Trucks that launched in 2014.

“It’s been incredibly exciting to see the evolution of the Hello Kitty Cafe concept year after year as we continue to share Hello Kitty’s global message of friendship and happiness,” said Craig Takiguchi, COO and head of business development at Sanrio, Inc. “Hello Kitty Cafe brings fans of all ages together and provides a special venue for them to connect with the Hello Kitty brand. The Park is a prime location for us to make our debut in Las Vegas and we welcome guests to visit from around the world.”

Guests can look forward to a cute and fun open space cafe setting surrounded by colorful graphics with many photo backdrop opportunities. The cafe offers an array of themed beverages and treats, along with specially designed cafe mugs, T-shirts, baseball caps, keychains and tote bags.

Hours of operation for the Hello Kitty Cafe are 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. – midnight on Friday and Saturday.
