Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ Top 5 Table Service Restaurants – Theme Park Best
Each week, we ask you, our readers, to vote for your favorite food, ride, land, or activities at theme parks around the world. This week, we’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, on the search for the top table service restaurant in the park.
We asked on our social media outlets which table service restaurants were your favorite, and you certainly had your preferences!
For the purpose of this poll, a restaurant that is considered ‘table service’ utilizes a server to bring out your meal and drinks to your table, as well as buffet-style sit-down dining. These are the official winners for Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
5. Hollywood & Vine
Hollywood & Vine can be found off to the left of Hollywood Boulevard upon entering Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This restaurant is a buffet style experience with character dining, featuring either Disney Junior pals during breakfast or Minnie and friends for seasonal dining.
For breakfast, the menu features an omelet station, pancakes and waffles, a children’s breakfast buffet and more. For lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy an array of salads, soup, bread, chicken, sweets and more.
Prices for this restaurant range from $35 to $59.99 for dinner per adult, while breakfast and lunch generally cost less.
4. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, often lovingly referred to as “Mama’s,” can be found in the former Backlot area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, nearby MuppetVision 3D. Here, Mama Melrose herself is serving up homestyle Italian fare with bold flavors, in an environment filled with string lights, checked curtains, and walls crowded with mementos.
The same menu is served for both lunch and dinner and includes offerings like calamari, signature flatbreads, pasta, and even charred strip steak. For those with a sweet tooth, take a bite out of Mama’s tiramisù or a Ghirardelli chocolate and cherry tort.
This location also offers a selection of Italian and Californian wines, draft beers and specialty cocktails. Per tradition, Mama also invites her guests to top off their dining experience with an authentic cappuccino, caffé latte, caffé mocha, or espresso.

3. The Hollywood Brown Derby
The Hollywood Brown Derby can be found on the corner of the Animation Courtyard and Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Designed as an authentic replica of the famous Brown Derby restaurant, this version of the Brown Derby harkens back to the Golden Age of Hollywood with its décor.
Guests can enjoy signature dishes at the Brown Derby, including pork chop, char-grilled filet of beef with a Yukon gold potato cake, and of course, the famous Cobb salad that follows the recipe of Bob Cobb, the owner of the historic Brown Derby. Dessert is made possible by The Hollywood Brown Derby Dessert Trio – three mini desserts of your choice, taken from the restaurant’s dessert list.
Guests ages 21 and up can enjoy the Brown Derby’s cocktails poured tableside, in addition to wines from France, Italy, California, Australia and beyond.
As an added bonus to the restaurant, upstairs is one of the secret locations to Walt Disney World’s Club 33, which can only be accessed by members of the club via elevator.

2. 50’s Prime Time Café
Just down the street from Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is 50’s Prime Time Café, a restaurant that will fill you up with delicious home-cookin’, and make you wish you remembered your manners!
This authentic vintage dining experience takes you back home to Mom’s kitchen, where she slaves away and the extended family is serving you – and they aren’t above teaching you manners, and punishing you for misbehaving.
You better bring your appetite when dining here, as the lunch and dinner menus offer homestyle plates like Dad’s Stuffed Pork Chop, Cousin Harold’s Vegetable Lasagna, A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes, and Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken.
A home-cooked meal isn’t finished without a proper dessert, and at 50’s Prime Time, you can cap off your dinner with offerings like Traditional Warm Apple Crisp À la Mode, Dad’s Favorite Chocolate-Peanut Butter Layered Cake, Mom’s Brownie, or even an Ice Cream Sundae. Another favorite is the classic Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake.
If Mom and Dad are looking to enjoy a few libations before or after dinner, they can head next door to the Tune-In Lounge for additional alcoholic drink selections and retro TV.

1. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
Head past Commissary Lane at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to this unique dining experience, the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.
Guests can pull up into a car-shaped booth or table and enjoy this indoor “drive-in” that plays classic sci-fi scenes onscreen. Picnic tables are also located at the back of the theater for guests who arrive last minute or don’t have a reservation, and they can even order from an old-fashioned drive-in concession stand.
The lunch and dinner menus feature offerings like the Oven-Roasted Turkey Sandwich, a Vegetarian Falafel Burger, and the House-Smoked St. Louis-style Pork Ribs or the Flame-Broiled New York Strip Steak.
Moviegoers ages 21 and older can try alcoholic concoctions like a Long Island Lunar Tea, the Magical Star Cocktail, as well as wines and beers that are out of this world! Desserts include the Out-Of-This-World Turtle Cheesecake, and a House-made Sci-Fi Candy Bar, among others.
