Celebrate International Women’s Day at Walt Disney World on March 8
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World on March 8, you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of experiences and food & beverage offerings to celebrate International Women’s Day!
All four parks will have something to offer to celebrate women:
Magic Kingdom
At Magic Kingdom, guests can take patron the Sisters Soiree Dance Party in Tomorrowland, featuring all your favorite female characters like Judy Hoops from “Zootopia” and Joy from “Inside Out.”
Guests can also purchase Strawberry Shortcake Shooters at Cheshire Café and Westward Ho to celebrate the occasion.
Epcot
Over at Epcot, guests can head to The American Adventure to hear Voices of Liberty as they perform empowering songs to celebrate women.
Guests looking for a sweet treat can try the Purple Minnie Dome Cake at Fountain View, Purple Cupcakes at Kringla Bakery and Sunshine Seasons, Mascarpone Apple Cake at Akershus, Purple Troll Kreme Slush at the Norway Beer Cart, and International Women’s Day Cookies at Biergarten Restaurant.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests can stop by Star Wars Launch Bay and encounter Rey with Chewbacca at his meet-and-greet. The women of the Green Army Patrol will also be marching through Toy Story Land, and the citizens of Municiberg will honor the Super women of their city as part of “An Incredible Celebration.”
The park’s sweet treats for the day will include a Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask at Neighborhood Bakery, Key Lime Pie Verrine at Backlot Express and Rosie’s All-American, Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake at Catalina Eddie’s, and Tres Leche at Fairfax Faire.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can celebrate International Women’s Day during the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party on Discovery Island and the Dino-riffic Dance Party that evening in Dinoland, U.S.A.
Guests can purchase a sweet International Women’s Day Cupcake at Creature Comforts and Restaurantosaurus, try Infinite Ambition drinks at Tiffins Restaurant and Nomad Lounge, or enjoy some Sangria at Tusker House Restaurant and Dawa Bar. International Women’s Day Cookies can also be found at many outdoor vending locations throughout the park.
Disney Springs
If you’re heading to Disney Springs on March 8, visit the Ganachery for International Women’s Day Chocolate Ganache Squares and chocolate Power Piñatas, or pick up a Pink Macaron Lollipop at Amorette’s Patisserie.
