This standalone, open-air bar will serve up Tiki cocktails in three collectible cups: Etched Tiki, Bamboo-styled Tiki and Tiki God. Whether you get it blended or made-to-order, every drink is garnished with a pineapple leaf and edible orchid flower.

Beverages will include the Tropical Margarita, Piña Colada and Painkiller, along with island cocktails like Tiki Tai, Bird of Paradise, Peach Rum Runner and Mai Tai.

Jurassic Café

The new Jurassic Café will offer a selection of Costa Rican-themed cuisine, inspired by the location of the “Jurassic World” films.

The shop will also carry custom-made, high-end dinosaur sculptures and maquettes replicated the Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus, Styracosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, and Triceratops. Prices will range up to $1,000.

Slo-mo On-Ride Video Capture

A new feature for Jurassic World – The Ride will be the introduction of slo-mo video capture. The moment that guests plunge down the 84-foot waterfall will be immortalized in video and ready to purchase and receive digitally for fans to post instantly to social media. Keepsake digital images will also be available for purchase.

Jurassic World – The Ride will feature an original storyline that takes guests through the theme park from the film franchise, as well as an appearance by the stars of the films – Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong, who will reprise their roles as Owen Grady, Claire Dearing and Dr. Henry Wu, respectively.

No opening date for the attraction has been set just yet, but stay tuned for more updates. In the meantime, visit UniversalStudiosHollywood.com for more information.

  1. Wow! I’m already impressed with the cocktails (the mugs they come in) and the food selection! 👍

This Ride sounds like a definite (and needed) upgrade! I’ve heard the complaints that Jurassic World “not operational” means USH is losing Park Guests, but I disagree …. Summer has barely started and USH still has time (besides, nobody wants another lame Fast & Furious Supercharged!)
