Celebrate National Fried Chicken Day at Knott’s Berry Farm

To honor Cordelia Knott, wife of Walter Knott, for her many contributions to Knott’s Berry Farm, the park is celebrating National Fried Chicken Day on Friday, July 6 at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant.

Mrs. Knott’s famous fried chicken dinners put Knott’s Berry Farm on the map, making it a must-stop for roadside attractions since the 1930s.

This year, Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant is offering a 10 percent discount for diners between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. on National Fried Chicken Day. This special discount is also available at the Chicken-To-Go quick service counter next door to the restaurant, during the same time frame. Season Passholders can combine this discount with their own Season Pass discount for extra savings.

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant will also host special photo ops to celebrate the holiday, like a shot with the iconic rooster outside the restaurant doors, and even a Snapchat filter!
