Two attractions on International Drive are showing their support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special offers.

Fun Spot America Orlando has turned the Sky Coaster Ride at its Orlando attraction pink for the month of October.

“We are known, for having more tracks, more rides and more fun year round” said John Arie Jr. “Empowering, strengthening and supporting our communities is a core value and committed purpose at Fun Spot America. With so many impacted in so many ways by breast cancer, we hope that our Initiative will help to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and encourage communities, organizations, families and individuals to be informed and engage the cure.”

On Oct. 18, Fun Spot America will offer a Be Pink flight pass for the iconic Sky Coaster at their Orlando location at a reduced rate of just $20. A portion of the proceeds from the event along with a percentage of the sales of Pretty as Pink Cotton Candy sold during the month have been pledged to help support the breast cancer awareness campaign.

The indoor skydiving attraction iFly is offering a month-long promotion dedicated to raising money for the locally founded charity Libby’s Legacy in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. iFly Orlando will allow flyers to purchase “Keep Hope Fly On” shirts throughout the month of October as well as discounted coupons with a portion of the sales going directly to charity.

Flyers who visit the attraction during Breast Cancer Awareness month will also get the chance to hold up a sign in the skydiving tunnel that says “I flew for…” and purchase the photo to send to family members.

On Nov. 1, iFly Orlando will culminate the month long campaign with a celebration party. In addition to allowing nearly three dozen cancer survivor and family members fly for free, a check for the total money raised from the month will be presented to representatives of Libby’s Legacy.

Libby’s Legacy is a central Florida organization that provides comprehensive breast health care to the underserved Central Florida community through education, mammograms, follow-up diagnostics and Hope Coaches to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
