Get inspired and inventive at Maker Faire Orlando 2018
Maker Faire Orlando is back this November to celebrate family-friendly creations, DIY art, technology, crafts, music and more.
From Nov. 10-11, participants can show their work and share their learning experience during the event, held at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
Individuals behind each exhibit are known as “Makers” and represent fields of study like technology, crafts, science, and tinkerers of all kinds and ages. The event will include 300 local exhibits, Power Racing, Combat Robots, Nerdy Derby and more throughout its three air-air-conditioned halls – as well as green spaces filled with hands-on activities, workshops, and competitions.
The event runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both days, and one-day tickets are now on pre-sale: $10 for kids and students, and $15 for adults. Weekend and onsite tickets are also available.
Complimentary admission is available for the following with proper ID: first responders, active military and veterans; pre-registered groups from Title I schools; employees of schools, colleges, and universities; and homeschool teachers.
