Celebrate the arrival of spring with Morimoto Asia’s month-long Sakura Festival, which begins tomorrow, March 15.

The festival celebrates the beginning of spring and the blooming of the cherry blossoms, just like the traditional Sakura festivals of Japan. The restaurant will be decorated with beautiful décor, displaying the pink blooms of the Sakura. The festival will feature a variety of ticketed events and menu specials dedicated to the cherry blossoms.

Check out the lineup of events for the Sakura Festival below:

Crooked Can Happy Hour – Thursday, March 15, 5-7 p.m.

Start off the festival with Crooked Can Brewing Company’s brew masters to try the Sakura Kolsch, only available at Morimoto Asia paired with Pan-Asian bites. Tickets: $25

Late Night Suntory Pairing – Friday, March 23, 9-11 p.m.

Japanese Whiskey-based drinks presented by Suntory, paired with lite bites at Morimoto Asia’s Forbidden Lounge with tunes by DJ Jimmy Joslin. Tickets: $32

Seas of Japan 101 – Friday, March 30, 4-6 p.m.

Each week, Morimoto Asia’s sushi chefs take time to educate the restaurant staff on the quality, varieties and traditional process of breaking down the fresh fish from Japan that is served. Now guests can have that same opportunity to attend this educational seminar learning about the seas of Japan while enjoying a tasting and sake sampling. Tickets: $45

Morimoto Asia’s Guest Chef Series – Tuesday, April 3, 7-9 p.m.

Executive Chef Yuhi Fujinaga and Chef de Cuisine Hung Huynh will welcome Chef Hitoshi Sugiura to kick off Morimoto Asia’s Guest Chef Series. The chefs will prepare a six-course Pan-Asian dinner together, paired with wines from around the world.

Chef Hitoshi has a history of creating unique menus for events and restaurants, and have received acclaimed notoriety like the “Top 8 Chef” at Italy’s 2017 VegetarianChance competition. Chef Hitoshi currently leads the tam and menu creation as Executive Chef of Patinstella Restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets: $120

Ramen Seminar and Tasting – Saturday, April 7, 12-3 p.m. UPDATE: The date has been changed to Sunday, April 8, 12-3 p.m.

Spend an afternoon learning about the different types of Asian noodles and how they’re made. After the seminar, guests will check out multiple ramen stations to try different types of ramen dishes. Tickets: $36

Matsuri Festival – Sunday, April 15, 12-4 p.m.

The festival comes to a close with a family fun day inspired by the traditional Matsuri festival of Japan. Guests can sample multiple Pan-Asian street food stations, and four beer and cocktail stations throughout the inside and outside of the restaurant.

Gaming stations will include traditional Japanese carnival games, shuffleboard, an origami artist, calligraphy artist giveaways and a Uniqlo station. Tickets: $45
